!! The latest development on our EWT turbine saga!!
On the 16th April Cornwall Council issued an Enforcement Notice to take our EWT turbine down and remove it from the site, which we have subsequently appealed to a Government Planning Inspector and should know the out come in July.
The Council have sent letters to all our neighbours and supporters giving details of the appeal and any comments they may wish to make.
You can see details of the appeal on the Planning Inspectorate website below.

In the first 4 months of operation our EWT turbine have generated
666,570 KWh (units)
of electric, saving a staggering 980 ton of CARBON DIOXIDE being emitted in to the atmosphere. When generated with a coal power station
Also it would have taken 233,880 litres (8 artic loads) of Diesel, costing a staggering £163,718 @ 70p to generate this amount of electric with engine driven generator or 222,190cm of gas or 334 tons coal (13 artic loads) in a power station.
