!!! Many many thanks for all your letters of support !!!
Our planning application finally came before the committee for the third time on 7th September and was refused 8 to 3, after the planning officers had recommended APPROVAL and the only objector was the Glynn Valley Crematorium. Also all 120 letter of support was rubbished by our two local Conservative councillors Lance Kennedy and Mick Martin, they also said we wouldn't pay out the very generous annual £30,000 community fund.
It now looks like we are going to be forced to go to an appeal which will cost us and the Cornwall Council about £30 to 40 thousand each with the loser to pay all. We have now contacted some top planning consultants who say we have a very strong case and can’t lose.
We are also looking into the possibility of donating a field for green natural burial for Bodmin and neighbouring parishes and would be grateful for any advice.
We think our field would be ideal as there is already a Chapel and car park in the corner.

If we got planning for our turbine on 07/09/11 it would have been erected on 25/11/11 but now it laying on the ground and will be there for the seeable future.
Also if our turbine was erected last week it would have saved two articulated tanker loads of diesel (70,000ltr) per month,
